Confess and Believe: Assurance in Romans 10:9

Salvation is a gift, freely offered to all who trust in Jesus. This verse reminds us that faith is both a confession and a heartfelt belief.

God's promise is sure: when we trust in Christ, we are saved and made new.

If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. — Romans 10:9 (NIV)

Reflection

Paul's words are simple yet profound. Salvation is not about our efforts, but about trusting in what Jesus has done.

Confessing Jesus as Lord means surrendering our lives to Him, and believing in His resurrection means embracing the hope of new life.

Let this verse assure you: God's love is for you, and His salvation is available to all who believe.

Today's Action

Take a moment to declare your faith in Jesus. If you haven't before, pray and invite Him to be Lord of your life.

Prayer

Jesus, I confess You as Lord and believe You rose from the dead. Thank You for saving me and giving me new life.
