Grace is God's unearned favor, freely given to all who believe. Paul's words remind us that salvation is a gift, not something we can achieve on our own.
This verse is a celebration of God's generosity and love.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. — Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV)
Reflection
We often feel pressure to earn acceptance, but God's grace is different. It cannot be bought or deserved.
Faith is simply receiving what God has already provided through Jesus.
Let this verse remind you: You are saved by grace, and your worth is found in God's love, not your performance.
Today's Action
Thank God for His gift of grace. Rest in the assurance that you are loved and accepted by Him.
